नई दिल्ली/देहरादून: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 14 अप्रैल 2026 को दिल्ली-देहरादून एक्सप्रेसवे का उद्घाटन किया, जिसे देश के प्रमुख इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट्स में एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि माना जा रहा है।
करीब 210 किलोमीटर लंबे इस एक्सप्रेसवे से दिल्ली और देहरादून के बीच यात्रा समय लगभग 6 घंटे से घटकर केवल 2.5 घंटे रह जाएगा, जिससे यात्रियों को बड़ी राहत मिलेगी।
यह परियोजना न केवल कनेक्टिविटी को मजबूत करेगी, बल्कि क्षेत्रीय विकास को भी नई गति देगी। बेहतर सड़क नेटवर्क से व्यापार, पर्यटन और आर्थिक गतिविधियों में वृद्धि होने की उम्मीद है। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि इस तरह के बड़े इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट्स आसपास के क्षेत्रों में निवेश और रियल एस्टेट की संभावनाओं को भी बढ़ाते हैं।
एक्सप्रेसवे को आधुनिक और पर्यावरण के अनुकूल तरीके से तैयार किया गया है। इसमें एशिया का सबसे लंबा एलिवेटेड वाइल्डलाइफ कॉरिडोर, कई अंडरपास और उन्नत ट्रैफिक मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम जैसी सुविधाएं शामिल हैं, जो इसे खास बनाती हैं।
सरकार के अनुसार, यह प्रोजेक्ट देश की इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर विकास यात्रा में एक बड़ा कदम है, जो न केवल आवाजाही को आसान बनाएगा बल्कि लंबे समय में आर्थिक विकास और क्षेत्रीय कनेक्टिविटी को भी मजबूत करेगा।
