अहमदाबाद: गुजरात दौरे के दूसरे दिन प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को अहमदाबाद में सम्मानित किया गया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने गुजरात स्थित टीडीएस लिथियम-आयन बैटरी प्लांट में हाइब्रिड बैटरी इलेक्ट्रोड के स्थानीय उत्पादन की शुरुआत की। यह प्लांट तोशिबा, डेंसो और सुजुकी का संयुक्त प्रोजेक्ट है। इस मौके पर सुजुकी मोटर कॉर्पोरेशन के अध्यक्ष तोशीहिरो सुजुकी और गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र पटेल भी मौजूद रहे।
कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि अब दुनिया के कई देशों में जो इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन (EV) चलेंगे, उन पर लिखा होगा – मेड इन इंडिया। उन्होंने इसे भारत की “मेक इन इंडिया, मेक फॉर द वर्ल्ड” यात्रा में एक नया अध्याय बताया। मोदी ने कहा कि आज से भारत में बनी ईवी 100 से अधिक देशों को एक्सपोर्ट होंगी और हाइब्रिड बैटरी इलेक्ट्रोड निर्माण की भी शुरुआत हो रही है।
पीएम ने इसे भारत-जापान की दोस्ती का प्रतीक बताया और सुजुकी कंपनी को बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सफलता की शुरुआत 2012 में हुई थी, जब वे गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री थे और मारुति सुजुकी को हंसलपुर में जमीन दी गई थी। आत्मनिर्भर भारत का वही विजन आज साकार हो रहा है।
मोदी ने कहा कि भारत के पास लोकतंत्र की ताकत, युवाओं की ऊर्जा और कुशल कार्यबल है। जापान की कंपनियां भारत में उत्पादन कर रही हैं और यहां बनी गाड़ियां जापान तक भेजी जा रही हैं। यह भारत की वैश्विक पहचान और भरोसे को दर्शाता है।
उन्होंने राज्यों से अपील की कि वे निवेश, सुधार और सुशासन की प्रतिस्पर्धा करें और 2047 तक विकसित भारत बनाने की दिशा में तेजी से आगे बढ़ें। इसी दौरान उन्होंने मारुति सुजुकी की पहली ग्लोबल इलेक्ट्रिक कार ई-विटारा को हरी झंडी दिखाई और इस उपलब्धि को भारत की आत्मनिर्भरता की दिशा में ऐतिहासिक कदम बताया।
