Gurugram: हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी गुरुग्राम के मानेसर में चल रहे पहले “राष्ट्रीय शहरी स्थानीय निकाय सम्मेलन” में पहुंचे। यह सम्मेलन इंटरनेशनल सेंटर फॉर ऑटोमोटिव टेक्नोलॉजी (आई-कैट) में हो रहा है। दो दिन तक चलने वाले इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिड़ला ने किया।
इस मौके पर हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष हरविंदर कल्याण, उपाध्यक्ष डॉ. कृष्ण मिड्ढा और केंद्रीय मंत्री विपुल गोयल समेत कई अन्य नेता मौजूद रहे। सम्मेलन का विषय था – “संवैधानिक लोकतंत्र और राष्ट्र निर्माण में शहरी स्थानीय निकायों की भूमिका।”
मुख्यमंत्री सैनी ने कहा कि शहरी निकाय लोकतंत्र की नींव होते हैं और यह सम्मेलन ‘विकसित भारत 2047’ के लक्ष्य को पूरा करने में अहम भूमिका निभाएगा। सम्मेलन से पहले मानेसर नगर निगम ने शहर की सफाई और ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था सुधारने के लिए विशेष अभियान भी चलाया था।
