नई दिल्ली: हाई ब्लड प्रेशर, डायबिटीज और कैंसर जैसी गंभीर गैर-संक्रामक बीमारियों (NCDs) के बढ़ते मामलों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने 20 फरवरी से 31 मार्च तक एक विशेष जांच अभियान शुरू किया है। इस अभियान के तहत, 30 वर्ष और उससे अधिक उम्र के सभी वयस्कों की मुफ्त जांच की जाएगी, ताकि इन बीमारियों का समय पर पता चल सके और सही इलाज शुरू किया जा सके।
घर-घर जाकर होगी जांच, ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्रों में मिलेगी सुविधा
अभियान के तहत आशा (ASHA) कार्यकर्ता, एएनएम (ANM) और अन्य स्वास्थ्यकर्मी गांवों और शहरों में घर-घर जाकर लोगों की स्वास्थ्य जांच करेंगे। यह अभियान आयुष्मान आरोग्य मंदिर (AAMs) और अन्य सरकारी स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों पर भी चलेगा, जिससे अधिक से अधिक लोगों को जांच की सुविधा मिल सके। इस पहल का मुख्य उद्देश्य डायबिटीज, हाई ब्लड प्रेशर और तीन मुख्य प्रकार के कैंसर – ओरल (मुंह का कैंसर), स्तन कैंसर और सर्वाइकल कैंसर की शुरुआती पहचान करना है।
