नई दिल्ली: भारत सरकार ने बांग्लादेश को दी जा रही ट्रांसशिपमेंट सुविधा को तत्काल प्रभाव से बंद कर दिया है। यह निर्णय बांग्लादेश के मुख्य सलाहकार मोहम्मद यूनुस के हालिया विवादास्पद बयान के बाद लिया गया है, जिसमें उन्होंने भारत के पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों का जिक्र कर चीन से समुद्री व्यापार की अपील की थी। इस बयान को भारत विरोधी रुख माना गया, जिसकी देशभर में तीखी आलोचना हुई।
साल 2020 से भारत बांग्लादेश को यह सुविधा दे रहा था, जिसके जरिए बांग्लादेश नेपाल, म्यांमार और भूटान जैसे देशों को अपने माल का निर्यात भारत के ज़रिए करता था। अब यह सुविधा समाप्त होने से बांग्लादेश के एक्सपोर्ट नेटवर्क को बड़ा झटका लगा है।
भारत के विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रणधीर जायसवाल ने इस फैसले पर कहा, “बांग्लादेश को दी गई ट्रांसशिपमेंट सुविधा से हमारे एयरपोर्ट और पोर्ट्स पर भारी दबाव बन रहा था। इससे लॉजिस्टिक्स में देरी, निर्यात लागत में वृद्धि और बैकलॉग जैसी समस्याएं सामने आ रही थीं। इसलिए यह सुविधा 8 अप्रैल 2025 से वापस ले ली गई है।”
गौरतलब है कि मोहम्मद यूनुस ने चीन दौरे के दौरान भारत के पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों को ‘लैंडलॉक्ड’ बताते हुए चीन से समुद्री एक्सेस देने की अपील की थी। इसके साथ ही, चीन के साथ बांग्लादेश में एयरफील्ड निर्माण और प्रत्यक्ष सैन्य सहयोग की संभावनाएं भी जताई गई थीं। यूनुस के इन बयानों ने भारत-बांग्लादेश व्यापारिक संबंधों में तनाव बढ़ा दिया है।
भारत के इस कड़े कदम से बांग्लादेश की विदेश व्यापार नीति पर असर पड़ना तय है और पड़ोसी देश के व्यापारी वर्ग में चिंता गहराती जा रही है।
