Mumbai: As Mumbai Tech Week 2026 approaches, a new initiative called “Unstarted” is highlighting the real journey of startup founders in the city. The video series is launched by The Tech Entrepreneurs Association of Mumbai (TEAM) in partnership with Z47.

Unlike traditional stories that focus on funding or success, Unstarted focuses on the beginning of the journey-doubts, failures, decisions, and the courage to start from zero.

Aakrit Vaish, Co-chair of TEAM Governing Council, said,
“Mumbai has always been a city of resilience, where real value matters more than noise.”

The series includes conversations with founders like Harsh Jain (Dream Sports), Revant Bhate (Mosaic Wellness), Sanket Shah (Invideo), and Jaydeep Barman (Rebel Foods). They share honest experiences of building companies, including mistakes and tough choices that are usually not seen publicly.

Avnish Bajaj, Founder and Investor at Z47, said,
“The real story of building in Mumbai is not in headlines, but in the moments of doubt and the decisions behind them.”

The series also shows how Mumbai influences entrepreneurs through its fast pace, diversity, and business mindset. It highlights how the city supports innovation in areas like fintech, gaming, and consumer tech.

As India’s startup ecosystem grows, Unstarted brings a human perspective to entrepreneurship. It shows that behind every successful company, there is a story of struggle, belief, and the courage to begin.
