Lucknow: उत्तर प्रदेश में मतदाता सूची को अद्यतन करने के लिए Special Intensive Revision (SIR) अभियान 4 नवंबर 2025 से शुरू हो गया है। इस अभियान के तहत पूरे प्रदेश की लगभग 1.62 लाख बूथों पर तैनात बूथ-स्तर अधिकारी (BLOs) घर-घर जाकर मतदाताओं की जानकारी का सत्यापन कर रहे हैं। इसका उद्देश्य राज्य के 15.44 करोड़ से अधिक मतदाताओं की जानकारी को अपडेट करना, डुप्लिकेट, मृतक या स्थानांतरित मतदाताओं के नाम हटाना और नए पात्र मतदाताओं को शामिल करना है, ताकि मतदाता सूची पूरी तरह सटीक और त्रुटिहीन बन सके।
प्रक्रिया के दौरान मतदाताओं को दो प्रतियों में पूर्व-प्रिंटेड फॉर्म दिए जा रहे हैं जिनमें नाम, EPIC संख्या, भाग-क्रम संख्या और अन्य विवरण पहले से दर्ज रहते हैं। इन फॉर्मों को BLO घर-घर वितरित कर रहे हैं, जिन्हें मतदाता स्वयं या परिवार का कोई भी वयस्क सदस्य भर सकता है। भरा हुआ फॉर्म दो प्रतियों में जमा होता है-एक मतदाता के पास और दूसरी अधिकारी के पास सुरक्षित रहती है।
फॉर्म जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 4 दिसंबर 2025 निर्धारित की गई है। इसके बाद 9 दिसंबर 2025 को मसौदा मतदाता सूची जारी की जाएगी, जबकि 9 दिसंबर 2025 से 8 जनवरी 2026 तक दावे और आपत्तियाँ दर्ज कराई जा सकती हैं। प्रक्रिया पूर्ण होने के बाद अंतिम मतदाता सूची 7 फरवरी 2026 को प्रकाशित की जाएगी।
SIR अभियान में प्रशासन के साथ-साथ राजनीतिक दलों की भी सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की गई है। बूथ-प्रमुख, सेक्टर-प्रेसिडेंट और बूथ-हितैषी जैसे जिम्मेदार प्रतिनिधियों को जोड़ा गया है ताकि हर पात्र मतदाता को सूची में शामिल किया जा सके। यह अभियान लोकतांत्रिक प्रणाली को मजबूत करने और व्यापक जन-भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम माना जा रहा है।
