नई दिल्ली: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने बुधवार को विश्व कप जीतकर लौटी भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम से मुलाकात की। हाल ही में भारत ने आईसीसी महिला विश्व कप 2025 का खिताब जीतकर इतिहास रच दिया था। इस मौके पर मोदी ने खिलाड़ियों से खुलकर बातचीत की और उनके समर्पण, मेहनत व जज्बे की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि यह जीत न केवल क्रिकेट बल्कि पूरे देश की नारी शक्ति के सामर्थ्य का प्रतीक है।

ऑलराउंडर दीप्ति शर्मा ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री ने उनके हनुमान जी के टैटू और “जय श्री राम” वाले इंस्टाग्राम पोस्ट का भी जिक्र किया। उन्होंने कहा कि टैटू उन्हें शक्ति और आत्मविश्वास देता है। मोदी ने मजाकिया अंदाज़ में हरमनप्रीत के उस पल का भी उल्लेख किया जब उन्होंने फाइनल मैच के बाद गेंद को अपनी जेब में रख लिया था। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि “कैच और ट्रॉफी दोनों को संभालना जिम्मेदारी और गौरव की बात है।”
प्रधानमंत्री ने खिलाड़ियों को भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि देश की बेटियाँ हर क्षेत्र में नई ऊंचाइयाँ छू रही हैं और सरकार उनके खेल विकास के लिए लगातार प्रतिबद्ध है। मुलाकात के अंत में टीम ने ट्रॉफी प्रधानमंत्री को दिखाई और उनके साथ तस्वीरें खिंचवाईं।
