नई दिल्ली: संसद का मानसून सत्र 21 जुलाई से 12 अगस्त तक चलेगा। इसकी घोषणा केंद्रीय संसदीय कार्य मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने की है। यह एलान ऐसे समय में आया है जब विपक्ष लगातार ऑपरेशन सिंदूर और पहलगाम आतंकी हमले को लेकर विशेष सत्र बुलाने की मांग कर रहा है।
इस मानसून सत्र में बीमा संशोधन विधेयक पेश किया जा सकता है, जिसमें बीमा क्षेत्र में विदेशी निवेश (FDI) की सीमा 100 प्रतिशत तक बढ़ाने का प्रस्ताव है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, विधेयक का मसौदा तैयार हो चुका है और जल्द ही इसे कैबिनेट की मंजूरी के लिए भेजा जाएगा। मंजूरी के बाद वित्त मंत्रालय का वित्तीय सेवा विभाग इसे संसद में पेश करेगा।
इससे पहले संसद का बजट सत्र दो चरणों में हुआ था। पहला चरण 31 जनवरी से 13 फरवरी तक चला, जबकि दूसरा चरण 10 मार्च से 4 अप्रैल तक आयोजित हुआ। इस दौरान राज्यसभा के सभापति जगदीप धनखड़ ने बताया कि 3 अप्रैल को राज्यसभा की अब तक की सबसे लंबी बैठक हुई, जो सुबह 11 बजे शुरू होकर अगले दिन सुबह 4:02 बजे तक चली। इस बैठक में 49 निजी विधेयक पेश किए गए और कुल 159 घंटे काम हुआ, जिसमें आधी रात के बाद के 4 घंटे से अधिक शामिल रहे। इस सत्र की उत्पादकता 119 प्रतिशत रही।
लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला के अनुसार, बजट सत्र के दौरान निचले सदन की कुल 26 बैठकें हुईं और कुल उत्पादकता 118 प्रतिशत रही। इस दौरान 10 सरकारी विधेयक पेश किए गए और 16 विधेयक पारित हुए, जिनमें वक्फ संशोधन विधेयक और मुस्लिम वक्फ (निरसन) विधेयक भी शामिल हैं।
