महाराष्ट्र में आज, 20 नवंबर, को विधानसभा चुनाव के लिए मतदान हो रहा है। राज्य की 288 सीटों पर 4,136 उम्मीदवार अपनी किस्मत आजमा रहे हैं। मुख्य मुकाबला सत्तारूढ़ महा यूति गठबंधन (बीजेपी, एकनाथ शिंदे की शिवसेना और अजित पवार की एनसीपी) और विपक्षी महाविकास आघाड़ी (एमवीए) (कांग्रेस, उद्धव ठाकरे की शिवसेना और शरद पवार की एनसीपी) के बीच है।
सुबह 7 बजे से मतदान शुरू हो गया है और शाम 6 बजे तक चलेगा। राज्य में कुल 9.7 करोड़ पात्र मतदाता हैं, जिनमें से 20.93 लाख पहली बार वोट डाल रहे हैं। मतदान के लिए 1,00,186 मतदान केंद्र बनाए गए हैं। सुबह 9 बजे तक लगभग 7% मतदान दर्ज किया गया।
प्रमुख उम्मीदवारों में मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, डिप्टी सीएम अजित पवार, देवेंद्र फडणवीस, आदित्य ठाकरे, और कांग्रेस नेता नाना पटोले शामिल हैं। वर्ली, बांद्रा ईस्ट और बारामती जैसी सीटों पर मुकाबला बेहद कड़ा है।
चुनाव परिणाम 23 नवंबर को घोषित किए जाएंगे। इस चुनाव के नतीजे महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति के भविष्य को तय करेंगे, जो देश के सबसे धनी राज्यों में से एक है।
