Bengaluru: Umiya Buildcon Limited (BSE: 532376 | NSE: UMIYA-MRO), formerly known as MRO-TEK Realty Limited, reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY26, reinforcing its dual-sector hybrid revenue model comprising high-margin real estate and telecom/networking solutions. The company recorded a 17% year-on-year rise in revenue from operations, reaching ₹12.82 crore in Q1 FY26 compared to ₹10.89 crore in the same period last year. Additionally, it recognised ₹40.50 crore from the monetisation of a non-core property in Electronics City, Bengaluru. The company’s adjusted EBITDA surged 745% YoY to ₹42.12 crore, supported by operational efficiencies and strategic capital reallocation.
Demonstrating continued progress in real estate, Umiya Buildcon launched a RERA-approved boutique residential project beside Candolim Beach in Goa—marking its formal entry into the premium holiday home segment under the Umiya brand. The company is also developing a beachfront luxury villa project in Benaulim, Goa, and planning an exclusive ultra-luxury villa development in North Bengaluru. Umiya’s in-house execution model—from design to interiors—sets it apart by ensuring quality, accountability, and timely delivery across all stages of project development.
On the telecom front, Umiya Buildcon continued to expand under the MRO-TEK brand. A trusted OEM and system integrator with over four decades of experience, the company manages over 1,500 network links for various government bodies across India. These are supported by four Network Operations Centres and its proprietary platform, Omni-Eye, enabling real-time monitoring and SLA compliance.
In Pondicherry, Umiya deployed its advanced Falcon-Eye UTM devices across the State Wide Area Network (SWAN), securing government communications with robust firewall, threat prevention, URL filtering, and application control. The company also executed key projects for subsidiaries of Coal India—Western Coalfields Limited and Bharat Coking Coal Limited—delivering wide-area ERP network solutions supported by MRO-TEK’s managed service stack.
Furthering its commitment to indigenisation and the Make in India mission, Umiya Buildcon has completed in-house development of a defence-grade TDMoIP (Time Division Multiplexing over IP) product. The device successfully cleared Indian Army field trials and is now ready for large-scale tenders with strong international potential. The company also expanded its product roadmap with a newly developed 1G switch and ongoing development of 10G and 40G variants—all built at its Bengaluru-based, DSIR-approved R&D facility.

Commenting on the company’s strategic momentum, Chairman and Managing Director Aniruddha Mehta said, “This has been a landmark quarter for Umiya Buildcon. Our successful asset monetisation is more than just a financial milestone—it enhances our capital strength and fuels progress across both verticals. We’re confident that our hybrid model will continue delivering long-term value for shareholders.”

Group Captain CS Krishnadas (Retd), Chief Operating Officer, added, “Clearing Army field trials for our indigenously developed TDMoIP device is a testament to our innovation capabilities. As we scale our 1G switch and advance towards 10G and 40G variants, we are deepening our commitment to Make in India and expanding our competitive edge in telecom and defence-grade networking.”
Looking ahead, Umiya Buildcon plans to operationalise a cost-efficient new manufacturing facility, fast-track premium real estate developments, and expand its defence portfolio with next-generation IP-based telecom solutions. With its strong foundation of internal innovation, sectoral diversification, and strategic capital deployment, the company is well-positioned for resilient and high-yield growth across India’s evolving real estate and electronics markets.
