New Delhi: SHARP Business Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of SHARP Corporation Japan, took part in the Consumer Electronics World Expo 2025, India’s premier trade show for electronics, appliances, and gadgets, held from 24th to 26th July at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa (Minister of Industries, Food & Supplies, and Environment, Govt. of Delhi) and saw the presence of key dignitaries like Dr. Ashish Kumar (Advisor, DPIIT) and Mr. Vimal Anand (Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce). SHARP India Appliances Vice President Mr. Mimoh Jain represented the brand at the launch.

Under the theme ‘A Step Forward Towards Viksit Bharat 2047: From Aspirations to Actions’, Mr. Jain highlighted SHARP India’s commitment to designing technology-led solutions that cater to the evolving needs of Indian consumers. He emphasized how the Make in India initiative has encouraged SHARP to localize its offerings while preserving the brand’s hallmark of durability and quality.
Mr. Jain noted, “Consumer Electronics Expo is the perfect platform to showcase how we are localizing global technology for Indian homes. Our patented Plasmacluster technology, for example, is being integrated into more products designed specifically for India’s needs.”
SHARP’s showcased portfolio included semi-automatic washing machines, mini and glass-door refrigerators, dehumidifiers, portable water purifier bottles, and air purifiers—reflecting its innovation around three pillars: Health, Lifestyle, and Care.
From design rooted in local preferences to collaborative technology development with Indian partners, SHARP’s participation reinforced its aim to not just sell appliances—but to be a trusted partner in India’s journey toward a Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
