
Mumbai: The India Africa Business Network (IABN) has announced an impressive line-up of speakers for the fifth edition of the India-Africa Entrepreneurship and Investment Summit, to be held on 17–18 July in Nairobi, Kenya. The summit will open with a keynote address by Ravi Venkatesan, Chair of the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, and Founder of the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship.
Joining him will be influential leaders such as Raman Roy (Chairman, Quatrro), Kenya’s Special Envoy on Technology H.E. Ambassador Philip Thigo, and John Mwendwa, CEO of Kenya Investment Authority. The event will also feature Anita George (former Senior Director, World Bank), Dr. Shreeram Iyer (Chairman, Prisma.ai), Vimal Shah (Chairman, Bidco Africa), and others from across Africa and India.

Organised in collaboration with Kenya Investment Authority, India Kenya Business Council, TiE Africa and ecosystem partners, the invite-only summit aims to foster cross-border collaboration and investment opportunities in key sectors including energy, healthcare, agriculture, AI, education, and critical minerals.
Baljinder Sharma, Convenor, IABN, said, “This year’s summit reflects the deepening commitment to the India–Africa growth corridor and is designed to catalyse meaningful business and policy dialogue.”
Building on the success of previous editions held in Mauritius and Kenya, the 2025 summit is set to strengthen entrepreneurial ties and open new markets for scalable ventures across the Global South.
