कोर्ट ने इसे दर्शकों के समय का दुरुपयोग मानते हुए PVR-INOX पर ₹1 लाख का जुर्माना लगाया और शिकायतकर्ता को ₹28,000 का मुआवजा देने का आदेश दिया। कोर्ट ने यह भी निर्देश दिया कि मल्टीप्लेक्स चेन टिकट पर सही शो टाइम दें और फिल्म शुरू होने के बाद विज्ञापन न दिखाएं। यह फैसला उन दर्शकों के लिए राहतभरी खबर है, जो बार-बार बेवजह के विज्ञापनों को देखने के लिए मजबूर होते हैं। अब उम्मीद की जा सकती है कि मल्टीप्लेक्स चेन अपने नियमों में बदलाव करेंगी और दर्शकों के समय की कद्र करेंगी।
