New Delhi/Mumbai: Bayer, a global company working in agriculture and healthcare, has launched “Nativo – Make Them Shine,” a social initiative to provide new learning opportunities for children in India’s farming communities. The program is based on a simple idea: every child, no matter where they are born, should have the chance to explore their potential. Through hands-on and practical learning, the initiative helps rural children build confidence, curiosity, and skills for a brighter future.

For more than 15 years, Bayer’s leading fungicide brand Nativo has helped Indian farmers protect their crops and deliver “shining harvests.” Now, Nativo is extending its purpose beyond farming — helping children shine too. A part of every Nativo purchase will go toward supporting children’s education and self-reliance.

As agriculture changes with digital innovation, rural youth have talent and potential but often lack access to diverse learning experiences. Make Them Shine fills this gap by offering programs that build creativity, critical thinking, leadership, and confidence — helping children dream bigger and grow stronger.

The program is held at Protovillage in collaboration with Integreater Foundation, a grassroots organization that supports self-sustaining rural communities. The two-week immersive program starts with 100 children, focusing on emotional balance, self-awareness, empathy, and practical STEM learning in agriculture, ecology, and entrepreneurship. Sports, including skateboarding, help develop leadership, creativity, and confidence.

The initiative aims to go beyond academics, helping children discover their full potential. Top participants will be celebrated at the Protovillage Annual Festival, showcasing their growth to the community.

With a strong presence in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, Nativo has long partnered with rice farmers. Make Them Shine strengthens this bond by letting farmers support children’s education through every purchase of Nativo.
