Gurugram: Realty firm Elan Group has awarded a ₹1,100 crore construction contract to Leighton Asia for the development of a luxury residential project in Gurugram. Leighton Asia is a subsidiary of the Australian infrastructure major, CIMIC Group.

According to an official statement issued on Thursday, the contract pertains to the development of ‘Elan The Emperor’, an ultra-luxury residential project located in Sector 106 along the Dwarka Expressway. This project is a part of Elan Group’s expansive 50-acre integrated township in the region.

The scope of the awarded contract covers nearly 5 million square feet of built-up area. Elan Group has previously awarded construction contracts worth ₹1,800 crore for other major developments.
