New Delhi: दिल्ली सरकार ने हाल ही में सभी सरकारी और निजी अस्पतालों को निर्देशित किया है कि वे केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी बच्चों में कफ सिरप के विवेकपूर्ण उपयोग संबंधी परामर्श का पालन करें। यह कदम मध्य प्रदेश और राजस्थान में बच्चों की मौतों के बाद उठाया गया है, जिन्हें संदिग्ध रूप से दूषित कफ सिरप के सेवन से जोड़ा गया है।
दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री पंकज कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि सभी अस्पतालों के चिकित्सा अधीक्षकों, निदेशकों और विभागाध्यक्षों को यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कहा गया है कि केंद्रीय परामर्श का पालन किया जाए। इस परामर्श में दो साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों को कफ सिरप देने से बचने और पांच साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों के लिए भी इनका विवेकपूर्ण उपयोग करने की सलाह दी गई है। साथ ही, बच्चों में खांसी और सर्दी के लिए प्राथमिक उपचार के रूप में आराम, पानी की पर्याप्त मात्रा और उचित देखभाल को प्राथमिकता देने की बात कही गई है।
केंद्र सरकार ने यह भी निर्देशित किया है कि सभी वितरित कफ सिरप उत्पादों का निर्माण गुड मैन्युफैक्चरिंग प्रैक्टिसेज के तहत किया जाए और उनमें फार्मास्युटिकल-ग्रेड सामग्री का उपयोग हो। दिल्ली सरकार ने सभी जिला स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों और अस्पतालों को इस परामर्श का पालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाने का निर्देश दिया है।
