नई दिल्ली: दिल्ली सरकार जल्द ही इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन नीति 2.0 (EV Policy 2.0) का ऐलान करने जा रही है, जिसके तहत राजधानी की सड़कों से पारंपरिक ईंधन पर चलने वाले वाहनों को हटाकर 100% इलेक्ट्रिक मोबिलिटी की दिशा में कदम बढ़ाया जाएगा। EV पॉलिसी के ड्राफ्ट के अनुसार, 15 अगस्त 2025 से दिल्ली में पेट्रोल, डीजल और CNG से चलने वाले थ्री-व्हीलर वाहनों का नया पंजीकरण पूरी तरह बंद कर दिया जाएगा, और 10 साल से पुराने CNG ऑटो को इलेक्ट्रिक में बदलना अनिवार्य होगा। इसके अलावा, 15 अगस्त 2026 से पेट्रोल और CNG दोपहिया वाहनों की बिक्री पर भी पूरी तरह से रोक लग सकती है।
सरकार का उद्देश्य न सिर्फ प्रदूषण कम करना है, बल्कि दिल्ली को एक पर्यावरण-अनुकूल और टिकाऊ ट्रैफिक मॉडल देना भी है। पॉलिसी के तहत तीन पहिया मालवाहक वाहनों, कचरा उठाने वाली गाड़ियों, DTC और DIMTS बसों को भी पूरी तरह इलेक्ट्रिक किया जाएगा। खास बात यह है कि तीसरी कार खरीदने पर भी अब केवल इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन की ही अनुमति होगी। नई नीति के लागू होने के बाद नागरिक WhatsApp के माध्यम से EV से जुड़ी जानकारी, चार्जिंग स्टेशन की लोकेशन, सब्सिडी डिटेल्स आदि आसानी से प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।
वर्तमान EV नीति 31 मार्च 2025 को समाप्त हो चुकी है और नई पॉलिसी के लागू होने से पहले इसे दिल्ली कैबिनेट की मंजूरी मिलना बाकी है। साथ ही सरकार ने दिल्ली में EV चार्जिंग इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को मजबूत करने और सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर चार्जिंग पॉइंट्स बढ़ाने का भी वादा किया है। लक्ष्य है कि आने वाले वर्षों में दिल्ली में 80% से अधिक नए रजिस्ट्रेशन इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों के हों। इसके लिए सरकार टैक्स छूट, सब्सिडी और अन्य रजिस्ट्रेशन प्राथमिकता जैसे प्रावधान लागू करेगी।
