New Delhi: भारत ने चीन द्वारा दलाई लामा के पुनर्जन्म पर नियंत्रण जताने की कोशिशों का कड़ा विरोध किया है। भारत ने स्पष्ट रूप से कहा है कि दलाई लामा के उत्तराधिकारी के चयन का अधिकार केवल दलाई लामा और उनके द्वारा स्थापित “गादेन फोडरंग ट्रस्ट” को है। इस प्रक्रिया में किसी भी बाहरी हस्तक्षेप, खासकर चीन की भूमिका, को पूरी तरह खारिज किया गया है। दरअसल, चीन की विदेश मंत्रालय की प्रवक्ता माओ निंग ने हाल ही में बयान दिया कि दलाई लामा के पुनर्जन्म की प्रक्रिया चीन के नियंत्रण और “गोल्डन अर्न” प्रणाली के तहत होनी चाहिए और इसके लिए केंद्रीय सरकार की मंजूरी जरूरी है।
