Cricket: क्रिकेट में अब एक बड़ा बदलाव होने जा रहा है। ICC ने साफ कर दिया है कि कोई भी फील्डर अगर बाउंड्री लाइन के पार जाकर गेंद को हवा में उछालता है और फिर मैदान में आकर कैच करता है, तो वह कैच अब अमान्य माना जाएगा। ऐसे में बल्लेबाज को आउट नहीं बल्कि सीधे 6 रन दिए जाएंगे। यह फैसला हाल के वर्षों में बिग बैश लीग के दौरान माइकल नेसर जैसे खिलाड़ियों द्वारा लिए गए चौंकाने वाले कैचों पर उठे विवाद के बाद लिया गया है।
नए नियम के अनुसार, फील्डर को बाउंड्री पार से गेंद को केवल एक बार छूने की अनुमति होगी। अगर वह दोबारा कैच करने की कोशिश करता है, तो उसे नियम के खिलाफ माना जाएगा। यह नियम 17 जून से श्रीलंका और बांग्लादेश के बीच होने वाले टेस्ट मैच से लागू होगा और 2026 में MCC के आधिकारिक नियमों में शामिल कर लिया जाएगा।
