New Delhi: SHARP Business Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of SHARP Corporation, Japan, has launched a new range of window air conditioners in India, including the country’s first window AC with active air purification powered by SHARP’s patented Plasmacluster technology. This technology releases positive and negative ions into the air, reducing bacteria, allergens, and odors while providing effective cooling.

The new range includes Ryohu (Inverter) and Ryohu-FS (Fixed-Speed) models, available in 1.5 to 2 Ton capacities with various star ratings. Designed for India’s hot climate, these ACs perform efficiently even at temperatures up to 52°C. Features such as Coanda airflow, 4-way auto swing, turbo mode, and a 4-in-1 convertible mode ensure faster, uniform, and energy-efficient cooling.
Built for durability, the ACs include 100% copper condensers, anti-corrosion coating, dust filters, and auto-restart functionality. All models come with a 5-year comprehensive warranty, while Ryohu Inverter models also offer a 10-year compressor warranty.
Prices start at ₹34,490 for Ryohu-FS (Fixed Speed) and ₹39,990 for Ryohu Inverter (Top Throw). The ACs are available at major retail outlets and online platforms across India.
SHARP’s leadership emphasizes its commitment to advanced, health-focused, and energy-efficient cooling solutions for Indian homes.
