Organon APAC Pledges Up to $18,000 to UNFPA to Support Women’s Health

Mumbai: Ahead of World Contraception Day 2025, Organon, a global leader in women’s health, is driving awareness about the critical need for accessible contraception and reproductive health services across Asia-Pacific.

Under the theme “Empower Women to Take Control,” Organon is encouraging women to make informed decisions about their reproductive health, highlighting how choice strengthens communities, education, and economic opportunities.

Access to contraception remains a pressing challenge. According to the Guttmacher Institute, 132 million women in Asia who wish to avoid pregnancy are not using modern contraception, with unmet needs reaching 51% among adolescents aged 15–19. Unintended pregnancies can disrupt education, careers, and overall well-being, placing additional strain on families and healthcare systems.

Dr. Cristina Crisologo, Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Medical Director, Organon Asia Pacific, said:
“Every woman deserves the right to decide if and when to start a family. Access to contraception is not just personal freedom—it is a public health and economic imperative.”

Organon’s Pledge

To mark World Contraception Day, Organon is inviting individuals to make personal pledges for women’s health at womenshealthvoice.com. For each pledge, Organon will donate USD $1 to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), with a total commitment of up to $18,000.

The campaign empowers everyone to ask:
“Do you believe women should have the freedom to control their reproductive health?”

How it Works:

  1. Visit womenshealthvoice.com
  2. Make a pledge and pin it on the interactive map
  3. Organon converts pledges into donations
  4. UNFPA distributes support to women in need across Asia-Pacific

Through this campaign, Organon is transforming awareness into action, helping women take charge of their bodies, choices, and futures.
