Lucknow: उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने कानपुर को इलेक्ट्रिक व्हीकल (EV) मैन्युफैक्चरिंग का प्रमुख केंद्र बनाने की दिशा में बड़ा कदम उठाया है। सोमवार को जारी एक आधिकारिक बयान में बताया गया कि राज्य सरकार लगभग ₹700 करोड़ के निवेश से कानपुर में एक अत्याधुनिक EV मैन्युफैक्चरिंग पार्क विकसित करेगी। यह परियोजना पब्लिक-प्राइवेट पार्टनरशिप (PPP) मॉडल के तहत क्रियान्वित की जाएगी और इसका उद्देश्य भारत के EV इकोसिस्टम को मजबूती देना और स्थानीय निर्माण को बढ़ावा देना है।
UPSIDA द्वारा कानपुर के भौंसेन क्षेत्र में 500 एकड़ में यह पार्क विकसित किया जाएगा, जो समर्पित फ्रेट कॉरिडोर के पास स्थित है। इस पार्क में इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर्स, चेसिस, स्टील पार्ट्स, लिथियम-आयन सेल्स, चार्जर, कंट्रोलर और अन्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक पुर्जों के निर्माण और असेंबली की सुविधा होगी। इसके अलावा, एक समर्पित अनुसंधान एवं विकास (R&D) केंद्र भी स्थापित किया जाएगा जो नवाचार और उन्नत उत्पाद विकास को प्रोत्साहित करेगा।
सरकार का मानना है कि यह पार्क न केवल कानपुर को EV मैन्युफैक्चरिंग हब के रूप में स्थापित करेगा, बल्कि राज्य की अर्थव्यवस्था को भी मजबूती देगा। साथ ही, पार्क के साथ एकीकृत EV कॉम्पोनेंट क्लस्टर विकसित किया जाएगा, जिससे छोटे और मध्यम उद्यमों (SMEs) को पुर्जों के निर्माण में सहायता मिलेगी और स्थानीय उद्यमियों तथा स्टार्टअप्स को नए अवसर प्राप्त होंगे।
फ्रेट कॉरिडोर के पास स्थित होने के कारण यह पार्क लॉजिस्टिक्स और कनेक्टिविटी के लिहाज से भी रणनीतिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण होगा, जिससे कच्चे माल और तैयार उत्पादों का परिवहन सुगमता से हो सकेगा।
