वहीं, RCB की शुरुआत आक्रामक रही थी, जब फिल साल्ट ने 17 गेंदों में 37 रन ठोके, लेकिन रन आउट होने के बाद टीम की रफ्तार थम गई। अंत में टिम डेविड ने 20 गेंदों में 37 रनों की तेज़ पारी खेली, जिससे स्कोर 163 तक पहुंचा। दिल्ली कैपिटल्स ने इस जीत के साथ IPL 2025 में लगातार चार मैच जीतकर 8 अंकों के साथ अंक तालिका में दूसरे स्थान पर जगह बनाई है, जबकि RCB पांच मैचों में तीन जीत के साथ तीसरे पायदान पर है।
