नई दिल्ली: केंद्रीय आवासन और शहरी कार्य मंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने एयर कंडीशनर (AC) उपयोग को लेकर एक अहम घोषणा की है। सरकार जल्द ही एक नया प्रावधान लागू करने जा रही है, जिसके तहत एसी का तापमान 20 डिग्री सेल्सियस से नीचे ठंडा नहीं किया जा सकेगा और 28 डिग्री सेल्सियस से ऊपर गर्म नहीं किया जा सकेगा।
मंत्री खट्टर ने बताया, “यह अपने आप में पहली बार किया जा रहा प्रयोग है, जिसका उद्देश्य एसी तापमान सेटिंग को मानकीकृत करना है। इससे ऊर्जा की बचत होगी और अधिक सतत (सस्टेनेबल) कूलिंग प्रणाली को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।”
यह प्रावधान घरेलू और व्यावसायिक दोनों तरह के एसी उपयोगकर्ताओं पर लागू होगा। मंत्रालय इस दिशा में जल्द ही विस्तृत दिशा-निर्देश और समय-सीमा जारी करेगा।
सरकार का यह कदम ऊर्जा दक्षता और जलवायु-संवेदनशील नीतियों की ओर एक बड़ा प्रयास माना जा रहा है।
